Here’s a Charley Chaplin-inspired love poem:
This poem was inspired by D.H. Lawrence:

My mythological love poem:
Love’s Transcendence
by Mark TulinMy sweet flower is much more
than her family and friendsShe’s more valuable to me
than the books she reads,
the gifts she gives,
and the lines she remembers
from my poetryShe is more than a molecular
collection in human form,
stronger than an energy field,
and more dynamic than a solar eclipseHer radiant bloom
grows more beautiful
with each summer rainA woman I wouldn’t trade
or alter,
who I see with the heart’s eyeA woman who is loyal and true,
as trustworthy as the moon
that shines over our embraceOur connection cycles
through life and death
and reincarnationOur bond transcends
any measure of time.

Thank you, Margie Willis, a fellow author at Medium.com, for your comment about my love poem, A Boy’s Amusement Park Dream. “This is the best thing I've read of yours. This just sings right off the page with truth & nostalgia & fun, all spilling at a breakneck pace to summon the thrill & breathlessness of your anecdote (((HUGS)))”
