For many years, the Crow ignored politics. If there was anything political, I didn’t read it or watch it on TV. Thanks to the hateful fascist movement in the U.S., I am now interested in what’s going on and express it in satire. I recently wrote a humorous short story entitled “The Trump Bobblehead” for ALMA Magazine.
“Usually, college kids like you vote Democrat—but this house is full-on Republican, and I don't want any flag-burners or Colin Kaepernick-kneeling sonsofbitches living here."
Please enjoy this story and several other political pieces from the Crow.

Goodbye Disney World
by Mark Tulin
I won’t be visiting Florida soon,
not even taking my kids to Disney World
Too conservative for my tastes
A governor who breaks hospital records
for the most covid positivity rates
I’ll miss the beaches
The restaurants in Miami,
and the wild parties
But the politics are suffocating
my liberal sensibilities,
my sensitivity, my compassion
for the human race
I want to visit a place
where people are safe,
where they care if you live or die
and there’s plenty of hospital beds
for those who need them
I want to visit a state
where the politics are fair,
where science is appreciated,
anti-vaxxers are few and far between,
and I’m not the only one
to wear a mask.

Thank you, Gobaith Hope, a fellow author at Medium.com, for your comment about my satirical short story While the World is Falling Apart. “We Survived! The billionaires didn't have any idea of what survival is, how to handle it, or even understand how WE Survived in any circumstance.”
